When Portugal announced their slogan, "Party in Portugal!", it was more like a prophetic announcement. Lisbon 85 turned out into one of the strongest editions, with lots of songs that could had a shot on the trophy.
In the end, it was United Kingdom who took the trophy from the hands of Emperor Leydan of Portugal. Birdy returned to the contest and made a team with David Rhodes. The song "Let it all go" received 188 points, five more than the runner-up, Lorde's "Magnets". Top 3 was completed by the United States with Coldplay and Beyonce's "Hymn for the Weekend", whom received 169 points.
See you all in Alnwick 86 for a very magical edition ^^
